Born and raised in Vancouver, Jeff began his insurance career in general insurance before expanding into the group benefits space. After becoming LLQP licensed, Jeff went on to help build and lead a successful benefits consulting firm before joining forces with Ascent Insurance.

Jeff is a seasoned group benefits consultant with a strong work ethic and brings nearly a decade of hands-on experience with him. Jeff enjoys analyzing data to identify trends and opportunities to reduce costs for his clients, and values his deep relationships with those he works with.

Ray has over 25 years of industry experience and worked his way from the ground up at Pacific Blue Cross, the largest provider of benefit plans in British Columbia. Ray has experience in claims examination, underwriting large and complex accounts, and managing hundreds of benefit plans across the province from quoting through to renewals.

Ray is known for his analytical skills, superior service, and can-do attitude. He holds FLMI, LOMA, and LLQP designations to top off his extensive experience in the field.

John Glynn

After graduating from McGill University with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, John started his career in Finance with a leading global banking organization. Subsequently, John obtained a Master of Management degree in International Business from the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia. It was then that John fell in love with the insurance business and began working with two of the provinces largest providers. After five years of helping clients with their Group Benefit solutions, John had the vision to recognize that his clients would be better served if he became an independent advisor and could take care of all of their insurance needs.

Outside of the office, John has spent his free time with various community organizations helping those in need, including the Terry Fox Foundation, the Salvation Army, and the Canadian Mental Health Association.
